Graco to Recall More Car Seats After 'Difficulty' with Harness Buckles

Monkey Business/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Graco is recalling at least five batches of infant and toddler car seats after determining that the harness buckles can get stuck and make taking a child out of the seat more difficult.

On the company website, Graco says it worked with the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration in recent months — following a February recall of over three million car seats — and determined that customers, “were having difficulty opening the harness buckle used on infant car seats manufactured between July 2010 and May 2013.”

After deeming the old version of the buckle “difficult to open,” Graco agreed to recall all affected car seats and to offer a replacement buckle to any customer who wants to update their seat, regardless of inclusion in this recall.

The full list of recalled car seats can be found on Graco’s website.
