PORTLAND, OR — Bonneville Power Administration faces two more lawsuits alleging hiring discrimination. This comes as BPA is already dealing with two other discrimination suits.
Coast Guard veteran and 12-year employee of Boeing, Timm Johnson, filed suit in mid-August. The suit alleges that Johnson was passed over for three positions despite being highly qualified. Madonna Radcliff filed a discrimination suit in September. Radcliff is also a military veteran, and earned a master’s of business administration from Harvard. She applied to be special assistant to the BPA senior vice president.
Each seeks lost wages, $1 million in compensatory damages and attorneys’ fees.
