Driver Caught Cheating Carpool Lane With Oversized Teddy Bear

A 19-year-old driver was caught cheating the carpool lane posing a giant stuffed teddy bear as a passenger, WSP says.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — A 19-year-old Everett woman was caught driving in the carpool lane with a large stuffed bear as her “passenger.”

A trooper clocked the woman driving speeding in the lane on I-5 south in Lynnwood Monday morning.

Once he’d pulled her over, she rolled down a heavily tinted window to reveal stuffed animal. 

After citations for the carpool violation, speeding, and no insurance, the driver owes over $800 dollars in fines.
