Climber Rescued After Fall At Smith Rock

Terrebonne, Ore. — Deschutes County Search and Rescue was dispatched to Smith Rock after a climber was injured in a fall on Sunday.

22 year old Theodore Wogan of Sherwood had fallen approximately 20 feet and sustained potential serious injuries to his back and shoulder.

4 volunteers from Search and Rescue responded alongside the Redmond Fire Department.

Wogan was stabilized and secured nearly a mile down the Misery Ridge Trail.

Wogan was taken to St. Charles Redmond for his injuries.
