Police Looking to ID Highway Robbers

PENDLETON, Ore. — Oregon State Police is asking for the public’s help to identify two men suspected of robbing another man last night along I-84 east of Pendleton.

At about 8:30 last night, a 34-year old Boise man stopped to inspect what he believed was a flat tire.

While he was standing outside of his vehicle, a maroon 1990s Ford Mustang displaying a California license plate stopped behind his vehicle.

The two men got out, assaulted him, and stole his wallet. The men then ran back to their car and drove away westbound.

The suspects are described as white males, ages 35 – 40, 5’10” and 200 pounds.

One is said to have dark hair, a beard, and a red plaid flannel shirt. The other is said to have dark hair, a moustache, and a black hooded sweatshirt.
