Bend, Ore. – 11th Annual Haulin’ Aspen Trail Marathon Returns August 8, 2015. Registration Now Open!
It’s one of Oregon’s favorite trail marathons, half marathon & half-as (6.5 mile) races, the Haulin’ Aspen returns Saturday, August 8, 2015. Following last year’s premiere of the new spectacular course beginning and ending at Wanoga Sno-Park (elevation 5500 feet), racers can expect the same fantastic single track, double track and forest service roads for which Central Oregon is nationally recognized in the trail running world. The 2015 Haulin’ Aspen is also part of the Trail Runner Magazine Trophy Series as a points qualifier.

As Central Oregon’s only trail full marathon, the idyllic course offers stunning Cascade views, towering Ponderosa and a forest underfoot—a fantastic opportunity for local and visiting runners alike to explore some of the region’s renowned trail running terrain. Course maps for the Haulin’ Aspen Half-As, Half Marathon and the Full Marathon are available for download at http://www.haulinaspen.com/race-info/course-description.

Welcoming to many different levels of runners, there are three course lengths: the Marathon, the Half Marathon and the Half-As 6.5 mi course. The Half-As 6.5- mile race is a half half-marathon, back for its second year.

The post-race experience, now at Wanoga Sno-Park, includes fantastic food and locally brewed beer. A portion of the event’s proceeds benefit the Bend Endurance Academy.

Registration for the Haulin’ Aspen is now open. Discounts are given to those who register before midnight on June 8, 2015.
