Another Car Theft Case, This One In Bend

Bend, Ore.- Bend Police say this morning at approximately 3:10 a.m., Bend Police Officers were called to the area of 1430 Boston Place in Bend on a reported robbery of a car at knife point. Officers responded to the area and were able to locate the reported stolen vehicle, a white Toyota Camry, travelling near SE 15th St and SE Reed Market Rd. Officers conducted a high risk stop on the vehicle and arrested Jason Blaylock for the below listed charges.

The subsequent investigation identified Robert Kuper as also being a suspect in the robbery. He was not located during the high risk stop when Blaylock was arrested. Investigators ended up locating and arresting Robert Kuper at the Ray’s Food Place in LaPine at 1008 hours on this same date. Kuper was lodged on the below listed charges.

Christina Brown is known to Blaylock and this was not a random car theft. The investigation revealed a knife was displayed during the course of this robbery. Illegal narcotics were also discovered in Blaylock’s possession. No injuries were reported as a result of this crime and the white Camry was recovered for Brown.

Blaylock: Robbery I (carjacking), Criminal Conspiracy, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Thet I, Manufacture Possession of a Controlled Substance II, and Delivery of a Controlled Substance II
