Bend, Ore. – At approximately 0244 a.m., Officers of the Bend Police Department responded to a reported domestic dispute at the Chalet Motel.

Carroll, Brenda Elaine
44 year old Redmond Transient
Responding officers learned that Carroll and Reed who were staying at the motel together were involved in a domestic dispute which escalated, resulting in Carroll stabbing Reed with a knife.
Reed was transported to St. Charles by Bend Fire Medics where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Carroll was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Deschutes County Jail where she was lodged on charges of Assault II and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
