Madras, Ore. – Central Oregon Community College’s Board of Directors has hired Jeremy Green as the next administrator of the Madras Campus.

“I feel really honored to have been given the opportunity to represent COCC in Jefferson County,” said Green. “I look forward to serving the community by helping to provide educational opportunities for our area.”

Green’s responsibilities include providing site coordination; class scheduling; outreach and information to the community about college programs, services and opportunities; and helping students navigate through the process of starting classes with COCC. He will also work with the community to identify education and training needs and provide courses to meet those needs.

Green replaces Courtney Snead, who served as administrator of the Madras Campus since its opening in September 2011. The building was made possible by a land donation from the Bean Foundation, a 2009 voter-approved bond measure, Jefferson County and a US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant.
