Klamath Falls, Ore. – Oregon State Police Identified woman found in Klamath River as that of Alicia Scott, of Bend. She had been in the Klamath Falls area when she disappeared.
Background: On February 11th, Alicia Scott was reported as a missing person to the Klamath Falls Police Department. At that time, an investigation began in an attempt to locate Ms. Scott.
On March 26th, 2015, the Klamath County 911 Dispatch Center received a call stating a body had been located in the Klamath River, in the area of Lake Ewauna.
Klamath County Search and Rescue and members of the Klamath Falls Police Department responded to the area and located a deceased female subject in the water. The subject was later identified as Alicia Scott.
At this time, the circumstances of Scott’s death are unknown and the matter is under investigation.
