Three Arrested in New York City Casino Brawl

Fuse/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — New York City police arrested three men after a brawl broke out at a casino in Queens.

Police said they receiving several 911 calls from Rockaway Resorts World Casino NYC on Friday night. When officers arrived, they saw about two dozen people involved in the brawl inside the food court.

Police arrested three men. Andre Rivers, 23, was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct; Jovan Bovell, 23, was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct; and, a 30-year-old man whom police didn’t identify was charged with disorderly conduct and released.

Police said the casino sustained several thousands of dollars worth of damage.

One officer suffered an injury to his hand and was hospitalized, police said. He was expected to recover. Several other people suffered minor injuries.
