Crooked River Ranch, Ore. – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Authorities say that today at about 1:30 P.M. the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired occurring at Crooked River Ranch in the area near the 12000 block of Peninsula Avenue.
Once on scene, deputies located all parties involved and determined a weapon had been shot but no one was injured as a result of the shooting. Initial 911 calls indicated one person had been shot but those reports were proved to be false.
During the investigation 24 year old Tyrell Ross of Crooked River Ranch, was arrested and charged with Unlawful use of a weapon, Menacing, Pointing a firearm at another, and Disorderly Conduct in the first degree. Tyrell was transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he was lodged without incident.
