Deer Hits ATV, Injures La Pine Man

La Pine, Ore. – The Deschutes County Sheriff’s office says there was an injury ATV crash early this morning in La Pine.

It happened shortly before 1 a.m. when a La pine man was riding an ATV and was struck by a deer on Boundary Road in La Pine. He lost control and fell off the ATV.

29 year old Ryan Chytka was NOT wearing a helmet and suffered non- life threatening injuries. Alcohol was NOT involved and the man was NOT given a ticket.

Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded along with the La Pine Fire Department.
