Bend, Ore. – The first local screening of the documentary, “Queens of the Roleo” produced by local filmmaker Dave Jones is May 14th at 6 p.m. at McMenamins Old St. Francis Theater in Bend.
This is the story of 4 young women from the same small town in Idaho who took over the international sport of log rolling in the 1960’s.
Des Chutes Historical Museum is co-sponsoring the screening.
Tickets are $10.00/person at the door and proceeds benefit Historic Preservation Month educational activities.
