Madras, Ore. – Madras man dies after being ejected in rollover crash on HWY 26 near Madras in Jefferson County.
According to Sergeant Dave Pond, On May 27, 2015 at about 6:29PM, OSP received the report of a single vehicle rollover crash on HWY 26 just south of Madras near milepost 6.
Upon arrival they located a 2000 Chevy Blazer resting on it’s side. The driver, identified as Donald VINEYARD, age 37, of Madras, had been ejected from the vehicle and was unresponsive. VINEYARD was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Preliminary information is that VINEYARD had been traveling westbound on HWY 26 for an unknown reason his vehicle drifted across the highway and rolled on the eastbound shoulder.
