SAUL LOEB/AFP/Getty Images(WASHINGTON) — Michelle Obama welcomed a group of fifty Girl Scouts to the White House on Tuesday night for a campout on the Pennsylvania Avenue lawn.
“This is the first time we’ve ever done a campout on the South Lawn on the White House,” Obama said Tuesday night, telling the girls that they were “making history.”
The event is part of the first lady’s Let’s Move Outside intiiative that aims to get children active.
