Deschutes County Makes Arrest In Construction Company Theft Case

Bend, Ore. – The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Jack Robinson and Son’s Construction regarding a large amount of money that had been stolen by an employee working for the businesses.

The Sheriff’s Office Detective Division investigated the complaint and learned Walton had allegedly been forging company checks into his own name and depositing them into a personal bank account.

The total amount of money allegedly stolen is in excesses of $50,000 and the Sheriff’s Office is still investigating additional forged transactions.

41 year old William John Walton III was arrested and booked into the Deschutes County Adult Jail on 1 count of Aggregated Theft in the First Degree, and 48 counts of forgery.
