Glide Fire Now At 600 Acres…

Glide, Ore. – Douglas Forest Protective Association (DFPA): Overnight, fire crews worked to build fire trails around the east side of the Cable Crossing Fire where it escaped containment lines yesterday afternoon.

As of this morning, the fire is estimated at 600 acres. Approximately 500 firefighters will be on scene of the fire today. No homes are currently threatened and no evacuations have been issued.

The Oregon Department of Forestry Incident Management Team 3 was dispatched and arrived at the Cable Crossing Fire this morning, and received their fire briefing.
