Bend Fire Responds To Three Small “Suspicious” Brush Fires In 3 Hours

Bend, Ore . -Last night the Bend Fire Department responded to three small brush fires in a three hour time period. Each of these fires caused minimal damage but appear to be suspicious in nature.

They were burning on NE Jones Rd and Watson Dr., NW Buck Drive and Johnson Rd and NE 11th Place on vacant Land along the roadway.

The Bend Fire Department would like to ask for the public’s help in gathering information regarding these fires. If anyone has information please contact Deschutes County 911 non-emergency number at 541-693-6911.

Lead Investigator is Deputy Fire Marshal Jeff Bond with the Bend Fire Department.
