Bend, Ore. – In its third year honoring the legacy of the Rude Rudy’s Golf Tournament, and its commitment to feeding the hungry in Central Oregon, Newport Avenue Market’s Go Golf! Tournament participants hit the links at Broken Top Golf Club on Wednesday, July 22.

The event raised $46,158, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Hunger Prevention Coalition (HPC) of Central Oregon.

More than 150 community members and influential leaders from the grocery and retail industry dispersed around Broken Top’s beautiful, championship course, enjoying an afternoon of golf and fun.

An awards ceremony and dinner directly followed the tournament where trophies were distributed and the honorary donation of proceeds raised from the event were presented to Robin Popp and Kasey Every of the Hunger Prevention Coalition.
