A Human Caused Fire Near Grand Coulee Dam Now at 200,000 Acres

Grand Coulee Dam, Wash. – Fire bosses in Washington on the lines of the “North Star Fire” say it’s grown to 200,593 Acres.

The fire started about two weeks ago and is 25 miles North of Coulee Dam, Washington.

About 900 fire fighters are battling the fire and it’s 22 percent contained.

The area received some rain yesterday and that helped crews, more showers and cooler temperatures for the rest of the week should also help.
