Portland, Ore. – There’s a public meeting of the Tobacco Reduction Advisory Committee on Thursday in Portland. The Committee provides recommendations and guidance on program and budget matters to the state Tobacco Prevention and Education Program.
Agenda items include a Tobacco Reductions Advisory Committee overview; budget and program proposals; and recommendations.
The Tobacco Reduction Advisory Committee is appointed by the Governor. Members represent private organizations and state agencies dedicated to the reduction of the harmful impact of Oregonians’ tobacco use.
The meeting is from 2-3:30 p.m. at Portland State Office Building, Room 612, 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland. (Please note that space is limited.)
