Bend, Ore. – The Bend Parks District says The Bend Whitewater Park is going to be closed starting next Monday, October 19th through the end of December.
The closure was anticipated because it is the season of low river flows. So crews will be able to go back into the river to make adjustments and modifications to the park.
Water levels at Mirror Pond will be temporarily lower during the initial phase of this construction period.
