Miami Dolphins Fire Offensive Coordinator

Drew Hallowell/Philadelphia Eagles/Getty Images(MIAMI) — Bill Lazor has been fired as the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins, the team announced on Monday.

The move comes after the Dolphins lost to the New York Jets on Sunday, 38-20. Miami is now 4-7 this season.

Quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor will step in as the team’s play caller for the remainder of the season, the Dolphins said.

Meanwhile, in another coaching move, Miami promoted Phil McGeoghan to wide receivers coach.
