(DENVER) — New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski suffered an injury to his right knee during the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s game against the Denver Broncos. But just how serious is it?
We may soon find out. The star player is expected to undergo an MRI on Monday, a source tells ESPN, adding that, “We think he is going to be OK.”
Gronkowski was carted off the field with 2:49 remaining in the fourth quarter after he was hit by Broncos defensive back Darian Stewart. New England went on to lose the game, 30-24 — the team’s first loss this season.
