GOTO_TOKYO/iStock Editorial/ThinkStock(TOKYO) — Japan’s markets traded significantly lower on Friday, reports BBC News.

Toyota finished down seven percent, Nissan lost 5.8% and Honda lost 5.5%.

Japan’s losses affected indexes in London, the US and Europe as sharp declines were posted overnight, reports the BBC. The declines were due in part to global worry about the economy and oil prices.

The losses are Friday marked an end to a turbulent week in Japanese markets.
