Deschutes County, Ore. – Deschutes County commissioners did not make a decision Wednesday on whether to lift a ban on marijuana businesses in unincorporated areas of the county.
The County Commission decided to extend the process to Monday and potentially make a decision then on rescinding the ban.
The decisions on marijuana issues once decided, will be drafted into ordinances and formally adopted at another time.
About 40 people attended the commissioners’ session Wednesday.
Dozens attended public hearings Monday to comment on recent recommendations made by a county appointed marijuana advisory committee.
