Hope Playground In The City Of Redmond Gets Another Cash Infusion

Redmond, Ore. – Redmond’s Hope Playground is getting a new feature – an accessible merry-go-round, once the community steps up and pays for the $50,000 addition.

The playground at Sam Johnson park is considered the most accessible in the state for all ages and abilities.

Toward the end of fund raising for it, a local resident donated $125,000 with a matching component.

The same anonymous donor has now pledged $25,000 toward the merry-go-round, if community members can raise about $24,000.

So far, $1500 has been reached toward the funding goal.

Those interested in donating to Hope Playground can visit gofundme.com/hope-playground, or donate a personalized paver which will be placed in a pathway at Sam Johnson Park.
