Expectant Parents Are The Talk At The Sunriver Nature Center

Sunriver, Ore. – Chuck and Gracie are going to be parents.

Both trumpeter swans at the Sunriver Nature Center were both single lonely hearts, but they have now found each other and true love, expecting at least one fuzzy hatchling.

The nest is on one of the islands at Lake Aspen, which is next to the Nature Center.

Chuck and Gracie failed to find their special connection until meeting each other last year.

Their relationship got off to a rocky start.

Chuck chased Gracie away from the lake, but they eventually warmed up to each other and are now inseparable.

Chuck has been at the Nature Center for about three years, and Gracie showed up in June as a rescue.

Congrats to the lucky parents.
