Prineville Hot Shots Team Aid In Fire Fighting Efforts

Prineville, Ore. – The 20-member Prineville Hotshots crew left for Fort McMurray in Alberta, Canada Wednesday, to assist in the firefighting efforts that has forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate.

The massive fire has burned nearly 2,000 structures and hurt the region’s oil sands industry because of production shutdowns.

The Prineville crew left yesterday from the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise.
