Dustin Johnson Wins US Open Golf Championship

Johnson, who tied for second in last year’s tournament, has now earned his first major title.

A possible one stroke penalty from the fifth hole did not end up mattering for the 31-year-old as he finished 4-under to win by three strokes.

The United States Golf Association docked a stroke after assessing what happened on the fifth hole when the ball appeared to move as Johnson set up for a par putt.
