Bend, Ore. – The road up Pilot Butte will be closed for most of the day Saturday due to a planned political rally nearby.
The gate to the road leading up to the summit will be closed until 5 pm Saturday.
The park will be open to visitors walking up the butte.
Bend police requested the closure in response to the planned rally and march related to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
