Warm Springs Fire Causes Heavy Damage to Mobile Home

Warm Springs, Ore. – A mobile home fire struck Thursday evening for the second time in just over a month in a Warm Springs neighborhood.

The blaze severely damaged an older mobile home in the 2300 block of Oitz Loop, according to a tribal official who said the cause was unknown.

A disaster response team from the American Red Cross Cascades Region was sent to assist four adults affected by the fire.

Their immediate were tended to with food, clothing and information about recovery services.

A June 18 fire a few lots away destroyed another mobile home and displaced four people.

A tribal official said no one was home at the time of either fire.
