The incident happened around 7 p.m. during the “Frank & Dean” at Greenbriar Commons Gazebo concert, according to Parma Heights Police Department Detective Sgt. Steve Scharschmidt. He said the driver was backing out and instead of hitting the brake she hit the gas because she was trying to hurry.

She went through the back of the dance floor and ultimately hit a telephone pole and another car, Scharschmidt said.

The dancefloor was located in a parking lot at Greenbrier Commons, which shares a parking lot with the Parma Heights Police Department.
