Bend, Ore. – The Deschutes National Forest has closed Forest Road 4600-370 for the season due to snow and impassible conditions.
The rugged high country route is now closed from Todd lake Trailhead to road 4601. The 370 road provides access to Broken Top Trailhead and other high country destinations.
Not all roads will be gated and those that are blocked by snow or water should be considered impassable for public safety as well as the protection of natural resources.
As you head out into the forest and trails, the public needs to be prepared at all times, whether it is a short or long journey.
