Tumalo, Ore. – Customers of Laidlaw Water District can resume drinking their water from the tap.
Test results Tuesday morning showed the water was not contaminated following a break in the main waterline, according to Dale Peer, the water district’s manager.
The break occurred over the weekend, likely as a result of movements in the earth, according to Peer.
The water district quickly isolated the break and notified customers to boil water before consuming it, but that advisory has now been lifted.
