Prineville, Ore. – An attic fire destroyed a northeast Prineville home Saturday afternoon, displacing a family of five who escaped unhurt, according to officials.
Crook County Fire and Rescue found the structure fire had engulfed the two-story home.
Fire officials said it took 15 firefighters with three engines three hours to bring the fire under control.
The American Red Cross responded to assist the family with its immediate needs.
No injuries were reported, but the fire left the home a complete loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
