Bend, Ore. – Three people were arrested on suspicion of delivery of methamphetamine, among other charges, on Wednesday following a month-long investigation by the Central Oregon Drug Enforcement team.
Members of the CODE team arrested Jason Rydell Johnson, 36, of Bend during a traffic stop and arrested Judith Lynn Flanders, 56, of Bend, and Preston Lee McNeely, a 52-year-old transient, while conducting a search warrant at 1881 NE Moonglow Court, according to a release from Lt. Nick Parker with CODE. The CODE team found about five ounces of meth — some in the vehicle, some in the residence and some with McNeely.
CODE team members made a traffic stop on a 1978 Ford van near the intersection of Pettigrew Road and Thomas Drive in Bend at 5:08 p.m. on Wednesday.
The CODE team had watched Johnson, the only person in the van, leave the residence at Moonglow Court and arranged the traffic stop. Officers found more than an ounce of meth in Johnson’s van.
Officers arrested Johnson on suspicion of unlawful delivery of meth and unlawful possession of meth and took him to Deschutes County jail without incident.
CODE investigators then executed a search warrant at the residence at Moonglow Court at 6:22 p.m. on Wednesday, finding close to two ounces of meth, as well as currency, scales, drug records and packaging material. Officers arrested Flanders on suspicion of unlawful delivery of meth, unlawful possession of meth and unlawful manufacture of meth.
While executing the search warrant, McNeely arrived at the residence. Officers found him in possession of more than two ounces of meth and he was arrested on suspicion of unlawful delivery of meth, unlawful possession of meth and unlawful manufacture of meth.
