Redmond residents don’t want public safety fee

People who live in Redmond are telling the city that they don’t want to pay a public safety fee.

The proceeds would allow the Police Department to hire six more officers.

The fee would cost each Redmond household 72 dollars a year.

KTVZ reports the city council could make a decision by February.
