(LOS ANGELES) — The Conners are back on their iconic couch in a new set of promos for the Roseanne revival on ABC.
In three new teasers, various members of the family sit on the couch and watch sports. The first spot features Dan, played by John Goodman, and his daughter Becky, played by Lecy Goranson, watching basketball as Roseanne, played by Roseanne Barr, walks by.
Roseanne subtly pokes fun at the fact that the show is being rebooted — as well as the fact that Goodman’s character died at the end of the original series.
“You can’t live in the past, Dan,” she says. “When things are gone, they’re gone forever.”
In another clip, Dan discusses concussions in football, before Roseanne points out that he’s watching basketball. And in the third promo, Roseanne pesters Dan and daughter Darlene, played by Sara Gilbert, as they cheer on their team.
The Roseanne reboot premieres March 27 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
