Bend woman recovering from Deschutes County dog attack

A Bend woman is recovering from a Deschutes County dog attack.

The Sheriff’s Office says the woman was walking her small dog on Groff Road when two escaped boxers ran towards them.

She picked up her dog and the boxers attacked.

A passerby helped her.

The boxers were impounded and their owner, Jean Straight, was cited.
