Two men are facing charges after police say they set off an illegal firework that caused the 10-acre Fourth of July fire on Pilot Butte.
The Deschutes County District Attorney filed the new charges against Brandon Hastings of Redmond and Alan Stout of Bend yesterday.
They were already in jail for parole violations.
