La Pine Park and Rec. voters will have chance to raise taxes to pay for parks

Voters in the La Pine Park and Recreation District will have the chance to raise their taxes to pay for parks.

If approved in November, the measure would increase property taxes 22-cents per thousand dollars in assessed value.

That means the owner of a 200-thousand dollar home would pay an extra 44-dollars a year.
