Deschutes County Seeks Two For Advisory Board

Anyone with interest in in bicycling and/or pedestrian issues is encouraged to apply to the BPAC.

BEND, Ore. — The Deschutes County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee is looking for candidates to fill two at-large positions. The BPAC’s mission is to promote and encourage safe bicycling and walking in Deschutes County. The County Board of Commissioners will approve applicants to the two positions.

Candidates with a background or interest in cycling and pedestrian issues are encouraged to apply.  Most meetings take place in Bend on the first Thursday of each month.

Members are asked to serve a three-year term.

Applications will be accepted until Friday the 17th.
