SISTERS, Ore. — On Thursday, the Sisters City Council will consider ordinances for cottage developments and for a recreational marijuana tax.
On the agenda this week is an ordinance to amend City development code to add Cottage Development Standards.
The amendments call for several exceptions to current building codes, including requirements for vision clearance, minimum lot size, and separate utility meters.
The Council will also accept public comment and consider a new ordinance which will impose a local tax on recreational marijuana.
The City Council meeting takes place Thursday , October 23rd, at 7 p.m. at City Hall on East Cascade Avenue.
