REDMOND, OR — The 2014 Deschutes County Fair and Rodeo starts Wednesday in Redmond. Fair and Rodeo Queen Maddie Smith told KBNW News the five day event is one of the best in the entire Northwest.
“It’s such a blast. I mean, there’s the rodeo, the concerts, the rides, you really can’t find this anywhere else. It’s such a special event and it’s just going to be a great time, and I’d love to see everybody come out.”
The concert series get underway Wednesday with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, sponsored by 105.7 KQAK and 95.7 My FM. And as in years past, public transportation will be provided to and from the fairgrounds. Bus service will run from Redmond High School, Sisters and Bend.
