BEND, OR — Despite geopolitical tensions in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa, gas prices across the United States are dropping as the month of July comes to a close. AAA-Oregon said the national average for a gallon of gas dipped a nickel in the past week to $3.52, while Oregon’s slipped 1 ½ cents to $3.93 a gallon. The national average is now at its lowest level since mid-March, while Oregon’s average is at the lowest level since mid-June.
Oregon is one of 46 states and Washington DC where pump prices have fallen in the last week Despite the recent decrease, gas prices along the west coast remain higher than the national average.
Here are some of the lowest gas prices across Central Oregon:
- $3.85 a gallon in Bend
- $3.79 a gallon in Redmond
- $3.89 a gallon in Madras
- $3.93 a gallon in Sisters
- $3.89 a gallon in Prineville
- $3.97 a gallon in La Pine
- $4.05 a gallon in Sunriver
