Elks Blanks The Seals
BEND, OR -- Marshall Crawford threw seven innings of shutout work Wednesday evening, as the Elks Split Squad knocked off the San Francisco Seals 4-0.
Crawford gave up four hits and struck out four for the win. Joe Cima threw the 8th and Jason Wilson threw the 9th, giving up two hits and striking out 1.
At the plate for the Elks, Turner Gill went 3-4 and scored twice, Dan Winterstein went 2-4 with two RBI, Max Stovall went 1-3 with an RBI and Chase Clair went 1-5 with an RBI.
The Bend Elks return to WCL action at Vince Genna Stadium Friday, as they welcome in the Cowlitz Black Bears. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
