Bend Developer Critically Wounded After Shooting

BEND, OR -- A Bend developer was shot and critically wounded by his wife, who told police she thought he was an intruder.
Stephen Trono, 60, was listed in critical condition after the shooting.
According to police, Angelicque Trono, 39, said she was awakened by a noise early Wednesday morning and her husband went to investigate.
She told police, at some point later, she shot her husband after she thought he was an intruder
A handgun was seized at the home. Police have not said how many shots were fired.
Stephen Trono in 1980 founded The Trono Company headquartered in Bend.
According to his website, the company has been involved in several land development projects in Central Oregon and the Portland area since 1987.
