Two Kids Injured After Hitting SUV
REDMOND, OR -- Two children were injured Thursday evening when the skateboard they were riding hit an SUV. Police said shortly after 6:30 p.m., a Redmond man was driving south on SW 31st St., when he passed through the Timber Ave. intersection. It was there a boy and girl riding on a skateboard, traveling downhill, blew past a stop sign and hit the side of the SUV. The boy suffered serious injuries and was eventually Airlinked to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. The girl was taken to the hospital in Redmond and later released.
No citations have been issued, and police said their investigation is ongoing.
